I was surprised to hear that many people only schedule a one night stop-over in the city, as they didn't realise how much there was to do and see. One night is definitely too short.
Although I've been to Broken Hill countless times since my first visit in 2002, I'm sorry to say I haven't visited White's Mineral Art and Living Mining Museum, but I've heard many good things about it. It's often been on my list but I've run out of time.
I was pleased to come across a Tweet to a link to an interesting article by a recent Broken Hill visitor, Gayle Beveridge, who spent some time at White's earlier this month.

There is also an extensive 'doll and bear display'. Kevin 'Bushy' White and his wife Betty own and run the museum and gallery. There is a small entry fee.
Enjoy, cheers, Jane Deany
