ABOUT
ilovebrokenhill.com , was first published on 8 December 2011 by Jane Deany. My blog is all about the famous outback Australian National Heritage Listed City named Broken Hill, located in the state of New South Wales. I first visited #BrokenHill in 2002 and have returned many times since then. ilovebrokenhill.com will help you discover what's great about this historic mining city, where in the mid 1880's the line of lode, a rich ore body of silver, lead and zinc was found. You will find stories about anything related to Broken Hill.

Lifeline Broken Hill's annual art exhibition launches on 26 June 2015

Art Scene
Lifeline Broken Hill's annual art exhibition opened on Friday 26 June 2015 at the GeoCentre. Yes a bit late to promote the opening night gala event this year, but I can still promote Lifeline Broken Hill's Facebook page as they're keen to get more 'Likes' and also promote the exhibition itself which will run for a couple of weeks.

Exhibition dates 26 June - 12 July 2015.

The GeoCentre is also known as the Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum.

Address: 2 Bromide Street, Corner Silver City Highway aka Crystal Street, Broken Hill.

Hours 10am-4.45pm Monday to Friday and
1pm-4.45 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Entry is by donation.

Feel free to tell us how the popular annual event went by commenting below.

Here are links to my previous year's posts about the exhibition.

It is a very worthwhile cause so do try and go along and support the wonderful work of Lifeline.  This year, as in other years, there will be some great art.

I went to the exhibition several years ago and was lucky enough to attend the opening night which was a lot of fun.

Queries to Lifeline Broken Hill's office - telephone (08) 8087 7525.

You can also donate to Lifeline directly from their website www.lifeline.org.au.

Please note you can call Lifeline for crisis support 24/7 on 13 11 14.

Cheers, Jane Deany
