Why you love Broken Hill – locals and visitors tell

On my recent trip in January 2012, I met many people.  I asked some of them why they loved the Hill and here is what a few of them said …

Phil L. thought the best parts were -
“the landscapes and the people”.
He believes Broken Hill is a “living museum”.
I can see what he means.

Sarah R. (visiting from Adelaide) loves
“the creativity, distance and isolation”.

and

Elizabeth S. who I got to know on a previous trip, loves the fact that
“nothing is more than 5 minutes away”.
