ilovebrokenhill.com , was first published on 8 December 2011 by Jane Deany. My blog is all about the famous outback Australian National Heritage Listed City named Broken Hill, located in the state of New South Wales. I first visited #BrokenHill in 2002 and have returned many times since then. ilovebrokenhill.com will help you discover what's great about this historic mining city, where in the mid 1880's the line of lode, a rich ore body of silver, lead and zinc was found. You will find stories about anything related to Broken Hill.

White Ribbon and BraveHearts promoted in Broken Hill on 22 May 2014

Domestic violence survivor, Marie Louise is flying around regional Australia to promote the very important work of White Ribbon Australia and Bravehearts organisations which aim to stop violence against women and child sexual assault respectively.

Marie Louise will pilot a light aircraft RV6 2 seater with her friend Bill, and aims to raise $5000.

I found out about the trip via Twitter -
and I also read the article about Marie Louise published in the Barrier Daily Truth on 29 April 2014. She had just visited the city a couple of days earlier on her journey, which she will wrap up by returning to Broken Hill on 22 May 2014.
