My blog is all about the famous outback Australian National Heritage Listed City named Broken Hill, located in the state of New South Wales. I first visited #BrokenHill in 2002 and have returned many times since then. ilovebrokenhill.com will help you discover what's great about this historic mining city, where in the mid 1880's the line of lode, a rich ore body of silver, lead and zinc was found. You will find stories about anything related to Broken Hill.

Broken Hill Regional NAIDOC Ball Saturday 13 April 2013

Broken Hill will host the first Regional NAIDOC Ball this Saturday 13 April 2013.  Part of the evening will include awards for 'high achievers'.  There will be four award categories (I believe nominations have now closed).  The categories are -

"Inspiring Community Elder",  "Excellence in Youth Education", "Community Involvement and Leadership" and "Sporting Leader and Role Model".

Time:      Doors open 6.30pm, official opening 7.00pm

Cost:      $45 per head (inc. 2 course meal, entertainment & transport to & from venue)
