Broken Hill's NAIDOC Week Family Fun Day 4 July 2013

Broken Hill's signature NAIDOC Week event is the family fun day at Sturt Park.

The event is on this Thursday 4 July 2013 between 10am and 3pm.

Sturt Park - Chloride, Wolfram, Sulphide and Beryl Streets, Broken Hill.

There will be social, emotional and physical community wellbeing stalls hosted by over 60 government and non-government organisations. Various activities will include - karaoke, jumping castle, face-painting, airbrush tattoo tent, traditional food, drink, traditional dance and music, country rugby league drills and skills, art and painting, early childhood games and play equipment including story telling.

NAIDOC week officially kicks off on 7 July and runs until 14 July 2013, in Australia and the Torres Straits Islands.  The theme this year is "We value the vision: Yirrkala Bark Petitions 1963."
